Baby David isn't a baby any more...

David loves eating spaghetti.  He loves getting it all over his face, in his hair and on everything around him.  Then tries to give mom or dad a big hug.  So much fun!

We recently got the movie "Tangled".  David will sit and watch it for the longest time!  He will stand and stare at the tv or sit and stare at it too.  Any other movie and he is all over the place.  I don't know what it is about Tangled that has him glued to the tv.

Easter morning was so much fun this year.  David did a little Easter Egg hunt around the house.  The day before, my family came down from Cedar City.  We had a great time at the park, played Frisbee and had some good food.

David had to eat what was in the egg before he would move on to finding the next Easter egg.

David got a new outfit from his Grandparents.  I think he looks super cute in it.
He also found Grandpas hat that he left here.  David loves playing with it and putting the hat on.  He wouldn't keep it on long enough for me to snap a picture thought.

About us!  Everyone is super excited for summer to get here.  I am excited for Josiah to almost be done with classes!  He has just this last week then he will be done for the summer.  Josiah has one more year then he will be completely done with his schooling!  I am so excited to spend the time I have with my family.  I love being a stay at home mom and taking care of everyone.  This semester I have been watching a little boy named Hadley.  He is just a few months older than David.  They have a blast playing together.

That's all for now.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday afternoon!

We are still here!

Hey everyone! We are still here.  It's been a while since my last post.  Things are going good with the little Ferrin family.  Josiah is busy in school and work.  I am busy taking care of the cutest little boy ever!  It's so much fun being a mom.  I LOVE IT!!!  Just the other day David decided that he wanted to start walking, so off he went.  He now walks all by himself. :D

Thanksgiving Vacation!

So, alot has happened since my last post.  I guess right now I'm just procrastiniting doing the dishes, but hey, it gets something done on my to do list.
This Thanksgiving we went and saw Grandma and Grandpa Ferrin in St. Helens, Oregon.  It was really pretty up there and we had a blast!  We drove up to Salt Lake City and flew to Portland from there.  We had to drive up the night before our flight so that we made sure we were on time thanks to all the new security messures they are putting up.  The scanners found something "suspicious" in my purse, so I got the pat down.  WHAT?!?  It was in my purse, why would I have anything on me?  Anyway, after that we caught our flight and headed up to Portland where Grandma Eliza, Uncle Brian and Great Grandma Melva Ferrin meet us after we got off the plane.  It was fun to see people we knew after we got off.  David did great on the flight.  He went to sleep as we were landing which was the bumpiest part of the whole trip.

Great Grandma Melva Ferrin and David Blaine Ferrin.  David really liked playing with her cane.

Thanksgiving day rolled around and I even helped make some pies!  They turned out pretty good.  I learned how to play cribbige.  Josiah's whole family loves to play that game.  The day after Thanksgiving instead of going to the Black Friday sales, we went to the beach!  I think we all had a great time.
We went and saw Haystack Rock and then went to sea side aquarium that is right off the ocean.  They had some seals there that clapped when you would feed them fish.  It was fun to watch them.  Every night the place where the seals were kept would be drained and refilled with fresh ocean water.  I thought that was cool.
Haystack Rock.

It was really cold there.  I'm glad we brought our winter coats!

Here is everyone in the group.  From left to right, Grandpa JD Ferrin, Grandma Eliza Ferrin, Uncle Matthew Ferrin (I think he his holding David)  Great Grandma Melva Ferrin, Uncle Brian Ferrin and me!  Josiah is taking the picture.

These pictures are from the Sea Side Aquarium

This is the Astoria tower in Oregon.  It has 159 steps. (I think I counted right.)

Here I am at the top of the Astoria tower.  It was very windy and cold at the top.  In the background you can see the Astoria bridge and a big boat too.

Here is our 4 generation picture.  David didn't want to look at the camera for any of the pictures!

On our way back to the airport to go home.

Here we are on the airplane.  It was kind fun to fly!  Alot less stress than driving.

When we got back there had been a BIG snow storm and our car was covered with at least 10 inches of snow!  I swear! :~)
