Valentines, Wedding, Piano

Hope everyone had a great valentines day weekend.  Ours was filled to the brim with excitement.  Our best friends got married the day before Valentines in the Salt Lake Temple.  We were able to go up to their wedding and also to the reception.  It was so much fun!  The only downside to the whole thing is that it rained while they were taking their pictures outside the temple so they didn't get many taken.  Everything else turned out great in my opinion.  Here are some of the pictures I was able to take that were semi good.

On the way up to their wedding, I worked on an afgan for my grandma.  I finally finished it tonight.

On a side note, we had some money left over from our tax return... so we went and got a piano!  It is so nice to have one.  I hope that it will last for a very very long time.

And of course I couldn't leave this post with out putting up a few pictures of David.  He was such a good boy on the trip up to SLC and back.  That is the longest he has ever been in a car seat and tolerated it.

baby david

David Blaine Ferrin was born December 13, 2009 on Sunday at 1:26 am. We were all very glad when he got here. Being a mom is very different than how I thought it would be, but it is SO worth it!!!

updates!

Just a little post to update everyone. We have not fallen off the face of the Earth, we are still here! :)
School is going good so far. The South West Symphony just had a concert last Friday and we have another one coming up this Friday. It will be the last one I play in for this year! Dixie State College has also had some concerts this semester. They were very good. I designed the poster for the last concert that the Dixie State Symphony Orchestra (DSSO) had. It looks very good in my opinion. I'll see if I can upload a smaller version of it for the blog. I am also working on a design for the winter concert for DSSO.
I have about 4 weeks left of school work that I need to finish up. My goal is to finish everything to do with school before I have the baby! We are so excited to see this little one!!!

turn your head for this one... i can't figure out how to rotate my pictures! :s

This is the poster I designed for the DSSO.
